Emma has a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and graduated in 2016. She has worked in community, educational, and NHS settings which has enabled her to gain experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns such as, depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, eating disorders, low self-esteem, bereavement and PTSD.

Emma's approach is one of empathy and warmth. Her main focus is to create an

atmosphere in which people can feel safe and comfortable to talk through whatever is difficult for them and feel heard and understood. Emma has undergone training in various evidenced-based approaches to therapy including person-centred counselling, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and

Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-focused therapy. She uses her knowledge of different therapies to personalise her approach to her clients concerns, goals, and circumstances, to help them work through their difficulties and build better lives.

Emma is particularly interested in helping her clients develop a rich understanding of themselves and to make sense of their difficulties through introducing insights from neuroscience, evolutionary psychology, and attachment theories in a way that is simple and clear to understand. Emma is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and a registered Psychologist Practitioner with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC membership number: PYL33549) She offers face to face and online private therapy to self-funding adults (aged 18 and over). Dr Clare Stone

Dr Clare Stone is a highly professional and experienced Counselling & Coaching Psychologist with over 13 years of therapeutic experience.  Clare provides holistic, psychological therapy and life coaching that furthers development and growth. With a specialism in trauma, she aids her clients’ recovery from their experiences. Clare help’s her clients to realise, achieve, and even surpass their identified goals. 

Clare uses a value-driven, in-depth holistic approach customised to you, drawing upon a variety of different therapeutic interventions.  Some of the psychological evidence-based approaches Clare is trained in include: Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Person-Centred (PCT), Emotion Focussed (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Compassion Focussed (CFT) and Mindfulness-based approaches. 

Clare has experience working in a number of settings including working with a leading veteran’s charity to develop, manage and deliver a PTSD intensive treatment programme. She has also offered therapy within a specialist NHS trauma centre.  In addition, she has provided therapy and contributed towards research within a well-respected therapy research clinic.

Clare has also worked as a psychology lecturer at an FE college, and currently holds the post of Professional Development tutor and Occasional Lecturer on a Doctoral course for trainee Counselling Psychologists.
